Hazards of Writing with On-Line Technology

I do not know about you, but sometimes when I begin to do some on-line research I get side tracked with some of the interesting new information. This is one of the hazards of writing using technology, especially on-line technology. The wealth of information that is availableto you is so interesting that I get lost in the research, at times.  Not that this is bad, learning new things, unfortunately those deadlines just do not seem to change.

To avoid this as much as possible, sometimes it is just too interesting to store for later, I have started bookmarking interesting websites and information in my favorites. This way I can come back later when I have more free time and read the information then. Most of the times this works, sometimes  it does not.

Even with this strategy, as I continue my writing and on-line researching to meet a deadline, I find it necessary to stop and take a drink. A drink of new knowledge that seems to always come in handy along the path of writing with technology. Speaking of deadlines, another one is looming.
