First of all, listeners do not need an iPod to listen to your podcasts! Any device capable of playing audio files is all someone needs.
So why advertise your freelance writing services through podcasting?
-
Allows you to provide a personal touch to messages.
-
Allows you to grab the attention of those who are looking for someone who stands out from the crowd.
-
Allows you to access people who do not normally read blogs or other typical online sources – called digital marketing. (It is hard to believe there are people who do use the Internet, but I know a few personally.)
